You'll need a stable internet connection, a computer or mobile device, and the ability to sign into the zoom meeting software. You will also need a student account on Celebrant Academy where you can access your materials. Instructions for this will be provided when you sign up for the course.Ā
Course materials and assignments are available on our learning platform. After enrolling in the course, you will receive instructions on how to access and navigate the platform to find course resources. If you havenā€™t received this information at least one week prior to the start of the class, please contact us so we can make sure youā€™re registered and we have your correct contact information.
We intentionally have a 12 student maximum in our courses. This allows our instructors to get to know you and your goals better. They also have more time available to give feedback and field questions. We prefer to have a minimum of 5 students, and occasionally may postpone a course until there are enough students. Because ceremonies are so unique, it helps students significantly to see how their classmates interpret the assignments and to hear feedback on other work.
Our courses have fixed start and end dates. Final assignments are generally due by the last class or a week after the last class. Class syllabi have this information, and you can ask the instructor if you are in doubt. Some of our courses have on-demand videos associated with the coursework. Some must be viewed beforehand, and some can be watched at your convenience after the course has ended.
Students who undertake our Pro Certification tracks (four courses) receive a certificate after they have successfully fulfilled the requirements for all the courses in the program. Students who take a stand-alone course receive a Letter of Completion. Check the course description or ask the instructor to confirm if a certificate is available for the specific course you're interested in.
In most cases we offer to save you a spot for the next time the course is run.
If circumstances arise where weā€™re unable to run the course (instructor illness, enrollment minimums, or technical issues), we contact you immediately and offer you the choice to refund the course payment or apply it to a future course.
